It takes our auctioneers less than one minute to sell a vehicle when its turn comes. So, if you're trying to evaluate a vehicle while it's on the auction block, you'll probably be too late.
Get to Carriage Trade Public Auto Auction early and look at the vehicles beforehand. Our Public Auctions start with the tow-lane vehicles at 2:30 p.m. Eastern. All running cars begin to come through the lanes at 3 p.m. Eastern.

The vehicle that is being offered for sale leaves the auction area immediately and the bidding continues. When the bidding is complete and the auctioneer says "sold," there is often a different vehicle lining up on the auction block. Pay attention to which vehicle the auctioneer is selling.
